the origin story

They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Mine Began With Failures.

Over the years, I’ve constructed a wildly successful business & life that I can’t get enough of. (I also can’t get enough of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but that’s a whole other thing.)

It wasn’t always sunny on my side of the street, though. Back in the day, I started relentlessly pursuing big goals — and coveting the shiny cars, pricey watches, and paid trips.

I was convinced the external validation would fill my inner emptiness. (Uh, it didn’t.)

Despite reaching the top rank in my compensation plan, gaining accolades & garnering recognition, I was white-knuckling my way through the endless grind of network marketing.

At first, having the dream title & monetary bonuses brought me some short-lived flashes of happiness. But as the initial excitement faded, I realized I didn’t feel any different. In fact, I felt way worse.

The thing about “faking it until you make it” is that you end up feeling — well — like a fake. There I was, with everything I “wanted,” but deeply afraid that I’d lose everything I’d built.

Then came the breaking point.

And I began living in emotional rubble.

Feeling isolated and unable to confide in my team or upline, I reached a drained place of discouragement and dissatisfaction.

Getting to the next level felt impossible, and I couldn’t even imagine a path forward. My outer success was fighting with my inner values, and “the dream” felt more hollow by the day.

Wasn’t this supposed to be fun & fulfilling?

So I quit the industry in pursuit OF REAL PURPOSE.

And discovered the key to lasting success: doing it my way & no one else’s.

When I made my eventual return to network marketing, it was a marked turning point in my life.

Instead of following outdated (and self-sabotaging) advice from the marketing “gurus” that went against my morals, I stripped my approach down to the studs & rebuilt my business from love.

Carefully and intentionally, I crafted a career that’s aligned with living and leading as a Christian. One that means my business serves my life, and not the other way around. And an existence that lets me do what I love for people I believe in — all while getting to show up completely for my incredible wife and hilarious 2 boys. Finally.

And thus, my LOVE-LED™ business model was born.

P.S. Everything got better. Everything.

Once I started operating from a place of pure integrity, my inner growth & outward wins skyrocketed side-by-side.

My sales naturally grew once I focused on serving my clients instead of only myself. I put people at the center of my business, and the profits easily followed. And rather than resenting my business, I reworked the foundation until it fulfilled me. (I still hate spreadsheets and numbers, though.)

Success isn’t just about reaching goals. It’s about the practice of being true to ourselves. After all, there’s nothing more powerful than a person standing strong in their beliefs.
